An established software company based on Harwell Campus are looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience of developing software that interacts with hardware i.e. Robotics, IoT, Raspberry Pi etc..
The successful applicant will have a scientific or engineering degree as well as commercial experience of building software based (ideally scientific) applications.
Essential:· BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or Physics· 2+ years commercial experience in Python, C++ or C· Previous experience developing software that interacts with hardware
Desirable:· Physics/Astronomy background· Experience of control or real-time software
Location – Harwell Campus (Hybrid – 3 days at home 2 days onsite)
Salary – £38,000-£43,000
