Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer with expertise in the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) and Point of Sale (POS) systems. Summary: As a key member of their development team, you will work on building and maintaining POS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our software solutions meet both technical and business requirements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing the performance of existing applications. Key Tasks:

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) and TypeScript Work on POS system integrations, enhancements, and new feature development Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement software solutions Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices and company standards Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and practices

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, extensive experience working with TypeScript Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and reliable software solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
