As a member of the RVO Health Prevention team, you will have the opportunity to work on mission-critical projects directly impacting the evolution of our business and our members’ health and wellness. You will apply your programming skills toward building highly performant web experiences and integrating with high-throughput transactional services. You will apply your skills in a highly dynamic, innovative, forward-thinking environment that follows industry best practices and fosters a great engineering culture.
A qualified candidate is an experienced engineer with solid full-stack Typescript/Javascript development experience, advanced knowledge of modern frameworks, strong software integration experience, and experience with defining technical solutions. You will work in an Agile Scrum environment to develop application code and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to define innovative digital solutions.
Where You’ll Be
To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do
Demonstrate a strong interest in application architecture and solution designRecommend complex integrated solutions that fulfill business requirements and align with technology roadmapsTranslate business requirements and specifications into program design and develop product features in collaboration with the business and IT stakeholders Contribute to defining technical roadmaps; identify technical improvements and refactoring opportunitiesEnsure that all delivered solutions adhere to industry best practices for scalability, maintainability, usability, availability, extensibility, security, and portabilityWork with product owners, product managers, and other stakeholders to groom & provide solutionsProvide accurate and timely estimates for features, user stories, and tasksIdentify and implement innovative solutions to non-standard requests and problemsParticipate in code reviews and adhere to best practicesBe aware of current security trends, tools, and requirementsProvide input to planning activities including accurate and timely estimates for features, user stories, and tasks.Participate in rotational on-call schedules as neededWork outside of standard office hours as needed and, on occasion, support night-time releases
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of Fullstack Software Development experience2+ years of experience integrating with RESTful APIs2+ years of hands-on experience with Javascript/TypescriptExperience with React, Nextjs, Tailwind, CSS, HTML, Git, Netlify, Node, ORMsExperience with writing unit tests and end-user automation testsExperience with AWS and Azure Cloud technologiesExperience working directly with Product teams to deliver on feature requestsExperience with U/X (User Experience ) with an emphasis on performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsivenessWorking experience with CI/CD pipelines, Github Actions, Docker
Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.
