Responsibilities:Design, develop, deploy, monitor, operate and maintain existing or new elements of our systems and infrastructureCollaborate with engineers and partners in science & product to drive projects from inception, specification, execution, or to launchBuild and operate large-scale distributed systems (Beam, Flink, Kafka, etc.)Design and own the way real-time data is consumed, stored, and shared with the entirety of LyftWrite well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable codeParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge, including Open-Source projectsShare your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and evangelizing appropriate tech and engineering best practices
Experience:3+ years of software engineering industry experienceExperience with object-oriented programmingExperience or exposure to distributed systemsExperience working with databases, relational or NoSQLAbility to thrive in a startup environmentAbility to write thorough, scalable and clear design documentationDesigns, builds and improves a set of team owned components

Salary: $144,000-$198,000 USD
