A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Web Developer to join our Computacenter Tooling team in Group Delivery. The Web Developer will be actively involved in developing web based operational applications for internal / external customers. The role will entail working amongst a development team and will include the design, development and maintenance support for all developed applications/code.
What you’ll do
Technical 80%
Web/Application developmentRespond to support calls and resolve incidentsAdhere to escalation proceduresUpdate DevOps and Github repositoriesAssist with technical escalations for other team membersMonitor call queue and follow up with specialist support teams for resolutionAdhere to customer and Computacenter Security Policies
Administration 20%
Contribute to and use the team documentationParticipate in team and customer meetingsEnsure accurate completion of all development & incident type records and associated paperworkTo monitor and update the call management system as required (including problems, requests, changes)
What you’ll need
Designing, Developing and Maintaining specific web/application-based solutions for Computacenter internal/external customers within Tooling team.The right candidate should have experience with of the following skill set.
Development Frameworks / Libraries: Angular 8+, .Net 6+Languages: C#Web tools: HTML5, TypeScript, CSS3, BootStrap5,Data Handling: Data Tables, Dapper/Entity framework, CRUD operationsMiddleware: Webservices, Rest APIBackend DBMS: MS SQL
Having working knowledge in Azure DevOps, Powerplatform, Powershell and Python will be a good to have skillsWe are looking for someone, with 3-5 years experience, who can communicate well with colleagues and stakeholders at a technical level, providing support and guidance as well as designing/developing from a set of requirements.
Experience & Education:
4 to 5years web / application development experience is necessarySome Infrastructure support experience / exposure at a second line levelWorking knowledge of application, incident management processes with support skills.Good understanding of Agile development practices & methodologies and IT infrastructureAbility to work on own initiative, develop and resolve problems in a pressurised environment.Ability to resolve technical issues in customer and Computacenter environment/operating systems.Excellent organisational skills, able to take a methodical approach to service issuesContributes to, supports and works within the teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
