Job Overview

/>An HFT Prop Trading firm that’s building out their first office in the US. A well known entity out in Europe, looking to make a presence in New York City! The team has already begun building out the trading divisions and plan to wrap up research/ trading hiring by the end of May/ early June. Post that, the entire focus will be on the software buildout, which will focus on securing strong talent in the C++ community. The plan is to replicate the success they’ve had in Europe and start from scratch.
This posting is purely for those who would be interested in making a move to a new firm within the coming months (can wait Non Competes for as long as 2 years). If you’re interested in a very new greenfield buildout of an HFT system, looking for something with high impact, and the desire to be surround yourself with like minded/ competitive individuals, this would be a conversation worth having.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ applications for real-time trading and market data systems.Build and maintain ultra-low-latency, high-throughput systems that process large-scale financial data streams.Collaborate with traders, quants, and other engineers to implement solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.Stay updated on the latest advancements in software engineering and contribute to continuous improvements in our codebase.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of professional experience in high-performance C++ development.Expertise in C++ with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, memory management, and concurrency.Proficiency in optimizing code for low-latency and high-throughput systems.Experience with market data feeds, FIX protocol, or trading systems is a strong advantage.
Total Comp: Base of $275-300k, plus a significant GUARANTEED bonus making total comp up to $900,000 max ($650-900k).
