Key skills required for this role include:
Software Development Experience in Java/Python or equivalent. Exposure to working in polyglot programming languages
and willing to adapt and dive into other languages as needed on job.AWS Expertise designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure platform infrastructure using infrastructure as code.(CloudFormation/Terraform)
on AWS. Strong understanding of AWS Core Services like EC2, S3, ALB, NLB, IAM, KMS, RDS, VPCs.DevOps Tooling and Automation Proficiency in using DevOps tools like Jenkins/Gitlab for automating build, test, and deployment
pipelines. Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Understanding of Agile Software Engineering practices and experience of working in dynamic teams following
scrum development practices. Understanding of SRE principles with monitoring and observability tools experience such as ELK, AWS CloudWatch, AWS XRay etc. Configuration management with Chef.AWS Solutions Architect or Developer
certification.

The role is based out of our office in Glasgow.

and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
AccountabilitiesDevelopment and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring
that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure
seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.Stay informed of industry technology trends and
innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive
data, and ensure secure software solutions.Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
