Kforce has a client in Madison, NJ that is seeking a Software Engineer to work on a team that currently has 4 Senior Back End Engineers, 2 Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and QA. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality code in React for the front-end and Node.js for the back end Daily standups Working in 2-week prints Working with cross functional teams on occasion 90% of the role will be pure coding A lot of unit testing- writing test cases

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience 2 to 5 years of hands-on development experience Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with 2 to 5 years of hands-on development experience Strong proficiency in React and Node.js, with a track record of delivering successful web applications Familiarity with cloud-native development principles and experience with cloud platforms like AWS Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and related libraries (e.g., Redux) Experience with RESTful API design and integration Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks is a plus Automated testing experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
