About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team this summer. This hybrid role is based in Seattle, WA, with flexibility for remote work. You’ll work directly with our engineering team to build and improve features that support our growing community platform.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on Angular/TypeScript, backend development, and writing unit tests to support scalable, production-ready code.
What You’ll Do • Contribute to new and existing software projects • Write clean, maintainable code using Angular, Firebase, and TypeScript • Collaborate with the product and design team to implement features • Participate in code reviews and Agile development cycles • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability• Work independently and alongside a small, passionate team
Qualifications • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles• Experience with Angular and TypeScript • Comfortable with unit testing frameworks and best practices• Solid understanding of backend development fundamentals• Strong problem-solving and communication skills• Ability to work 30 hours/week (flexible schedule)• Passion for sports and familiarity with sports communities is a bonus
