 Role OverviewAs an AI Engineer at Nummi, you’ll work closely with the founding team to design and deploy core intelligence systems — from vector-based memory to real-time, context-aware agents. You’ll be part of the early engineering team, shaping not just product features, but the foundation of what Nummi becomes. This is a 3-month, equity only role with potential conversion to a full-time salaried position. Senior and junior undergraduates are encouraged to apply.
Our Tech StackWe build with a modern, performance-first stack:Next.js (App Router) for frontend architectureTypeScript across the stack for safety and speedTailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI for beautiful UI at scaleOpenAI / Foundational Models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)LangChain + Pinecone for vector search & contextual memoryServerless functions for fast and scalable backend logic
 What You’ll Work OnImplement AI features like memory graphs, user-specific context, and proactive intelligenceBuild and optimize RAG pipelines using vector databasesDesign prompt systems and chain-of-thought logic for multi-turn conversationsCollaborate with design and product on user-facing workflowsMove fast, iterate often, and ship with care
