Job Description

We are seeking a motivated intern to contribute to the development and support of our Data-Insights/Subscription-Management systems. The successful candidate will be involved in implementing and testing features utilizing microservices within a cloud-based architecture, or in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of data pipelines, architecture, and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and test new features in our Data-Insights/Subscription-Management systemsParticipate in Agile software development practices to ensure high-quality deliverablesWork with microservice-based architecture and containerization technologiesWork on developing/modifying data pipelines, designing and developing data transformations, and data integrations using PySpark on the Databricks platformDevelop and maintain database scripts and queries on PostgreSQL to support advanced analytics use casesWork on developing interactive data visualizations using PowerBI that business and technical teams will use

Desired Skills:

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectivelyExperience with Agile software development methodologiesFamiliarity with microservice-based architecture and containerizationFamiliarity with modern front-end frameworks and development best-practicesFamiliarity in data processing and understanding of big data architectureFamiliarity of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databasesUnderstanding of security concepts, including authentication, access control, authorization, cryptography, and least privilegeExperience in cloud-based or embedded computing software developmentStrong communication and problem-solving skills

Basic Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an allied discipline. Must graduate on or after December 2025. Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
