Our projects:
Automations
Pigment allows a large number of users to participate in the financial planning of the company. To enable them to collaborate, it is necessary to automate certain activities, such as assigning tasks to collaborators or sending them notifications when data is ready to be reviewed. This needs to be done:
by offering a very intuitive configuration
by using Pigment’s underlying technical concepts (data model…),
without impacting the performance of the interface (loading time…)
Self Service
Pigment is a complex application but we want to make it as accessible as possible to our end users. This requires providing them with turnkey functionalities, such as being able to configure their collaborators’ access themselves or to easily reuse parts of Pigment for their own use, via a “store”, in order to be autonomous in their implementation of their use cases. The implementation of this system consists of:
the implementation of relevant functional paths
with a very intuitive interface and ergonomics
aiming at maximum productivity gains for the users
Graphs and data visualization
The attractiveness of Pigment is largely based on the quality of its user experience. A team of designers is working on its continuous improvement. In particular, data visualization is a central aspect of Pigment and is especially important for executive roles. Our data visualization system will therefore evolve:
To add more and more innovative visualizations
To improve the UX of existing graphs and allow full flexibility in their configuration
This while making sure to respect the best practices in terms of development, performance, and scalability of our code
Data Connectors / API
The Pigment platform allows our clients to manipulate their data in a much simpler and more efficient way than with software like Excel. They need to be able to import data from their internal management software, for example from sales, payroll, or human resources. These systems are multiple and require Pigment to adapt, generating numerous projects:
Integration of “native” data connectors to cover the maximum of the market
Provision of APIs allowing our customers to develop their own integrations
Data export functionalities and APIs for manipulation in a spreadsheet or insertion directly as images in presentations
Technical stack
Here is an overview of the tools and languages we use. More than knowledge of a specific language or framework, we are looking for good software engineering skills: the ability to translate functional requirements into a simple and elegant design and then deliver the code.
You will be expected to quickly gain skills in these technologies:
C# on .Net Core Linux, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, RabbitMQ and CircleCI.
Work environment
Possibility to work partially remotely
Office in the heart of Paris
Possibility to choose your working environment (hardware / OS)
A competitive remuneration package
Possibility to continue to progress within the team after your internship
The opportunity to join a very experienced team (e.g. Criteo, Facebook, Anaplan, Datadog, Payfit, Aircall, Google, and more…)
Come and join us!
Pigment is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diversity is a strength and fosters innovation. We are committed to enabling everyone to feel included and valued at the workplace.
