This role will focus on enhancing and maintaining the Java-based software, improving system efficiency, and ensuring robust documentation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with a full-stack web development environment, have expertise with technologies such as Java Spring framework and Angular, and collaboratively work with a diverse development and quality assurance team.
Duties of the Software Engineer will include the following
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions Write well-designed, testable code Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility Integrate software components into a fully functional software system Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures Document and maintain software functionality Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems Deploy applications and evaluate end-user feedback Comply with project plans and industry standards and best practices Ensure software is continuously updated with the latest features and security patches Evaluate, analyze, and modify moderately complex application programs
The Software Engineer selected should have the following
Experience with VS Code and Eclipse development environments Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, and HTML languages Experience with Java Spring Framework and Angular Disciplined with Subversion and Git version control Experience with software deployments using Jenkins Proficiency with Linux interactive shell (Bash) and shell scripting
The Ideal Software Engineer will have the following
SAS and R familiarity Experience with Qlik Sense Enterprise Familiarity with data analytics
