About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment effortsIdentify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environmentDesign, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domainsPresent recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreementsExercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirementsProvide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Additional Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalentSoftware Engineer position (minimum 3 to 5 years)2+ years of application development and maintenance experience.2+ years of Java development experience in a large enterprise environment2+ years Full Stack development experience,2+ years of Agile delivery and CI/CD experienceExposure to Agile practices, Data Modelling, Integration, and Rest Services.Experience with Automation testing frameworks, Performance Testing and CI/CD is required.Advanced problem-solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good analytical & debugging skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locationsStrong SQL knowledge, DDL, DML stored procedures and functionStrong knowledge and understanding of Spring frameworkDatabase query design and optimizationDevelopment experience working in Agile Scrum environment, expert in JIRA, ALM, uDeploy, Jenkins, GitHub and ConfluenceAbility to take part in and conduct code reviewsStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needsNice to Have – Skills:Financial services and Banking Applications experience
