12 Months ContractSoftware Engineer
Responsibilities:Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams to define and refine project specifications.Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project features and ensure hitting the project release timeline.Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, or backend systems across a number of programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP(Hack)/PythonCreate consumer products and features on a large scaleMaster Meta’s development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexityPartner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale a fully automated platform for operations.
Minimum Qualifications:Experience with Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) of full-stack projects with industry-wide impactExperience communicating and working across functions to drive solutionsExperience in working effectively with and influencing senior engineers across organizationsProven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timelineExperience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering effortsProficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git and Mercurial within a large team environmentProficient with React/Vue/Angular and/or other similar modern JavaScript framework
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor or advanced degrees in Computer Science or STEM fieldsExperience developing an enterprise product built with high qualityExperience developing large and complex SQL queries, with low execution timesExperience with multiple dynamic and compiled programming languages in production environments is a plusAny experience is a Support organization is also a plusExperience with building privacy and ads related products is a big plus
