Job Overview

/>The team is undergoing a major transformation, moving from legacy technology to React, Node, and TypeScript. This role plays a crucial part in this transformation and daily operations. This requires team members who can quickly understand complex, outdated architecture, and help reimagine it using scalable, modern technologies – all while ensuring continuity and minimizing risk to the business. Also possibly included in this role would be leveraging AI, specifically an AI-powered tool called Lovable to convert Figma designs into production-ready code.
Title: Software Engineer – TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, React, React Native, Node.js, MySQL, Oracle, AWS, Docker, and Serverless architecture.
Employment Type: Contract to Hire (6 Months)
Compensation: 70-80/hr, converting to 150-160k
Location: Hybrid in Nashville, TN

Must Have experience: Proficient to advanced in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and MySQLStrong ability to write high-quality code and solve complex problems.AWS CloudExtensive experience building high-scale, customer-facing products in AWS, preferably with a focus on serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.)High curiosity and ownership to understand complex legacy systems and drive thoughtful modernization using modern tech.
