Talis is hiring Software Engineers for an exciting early-stage game studio led by industry veterans with a mission to change the way people play games together.
Opportunity: Software EngineerAt our company, a Software Engineer’s primary goal is to partner with game designers to create exceptional online gameplay, evolve our technology, and help build scalable, connected games.
Beyond building tech, you’ll have a voice and the opportunity to help shape what goes into our games. We’re looking for an engineer who is comfortable working on game features, maintaining and improving the content pipeline, monitoring live data, and deploying servers. You’ll collaborate with and learn from a broad team—touching a bit of everything along the way.

ResponsibilitiesContribute to all areas of game development: gameplay, UI, SDK integration, and servicesSupport and contribute new ideas to game designCommunicate clearly, consistently, and proactivelyWork both independently and collaboratively to develop software solutions from scratchLearn and apply new technologies where appropriate to achieve the product visionLeverage the latest AI technologies to improve quality and efficiency
Requirements5+ years of software engineering experienceStrong autonomy, work ethic, and initiative; passionate and committedBroad understanding of game technology: you’re excited about gameplay “feel,” committed to delivering great player experiences, and willing to jump into areas outside your comfort zoneExperience with multiple programming languages (we use Kotlin, C#, and C++)Experience with connected/online gaming, Unity, and touch-based UI developmentOpen-minded and curious about how AI tools can improve development and creativity
LocationSeattle – OnsiteThis studio believes the best games are built together in a highly collaborative environment. That said, life happens—so there is flexibility for occasional remote work.
