REPORTS TO: Director of Software Engineering

DEPARTMENT: Digital Learning & Engagement

FLSA STATUS:Exempt

Location: Burlington, MA/Remote

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the design and development of software to meet users’ needs as defined by requirements provided by Director of Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop software to meet user needs as defined by requirements Design each piece of the application or system and how the pieces will work togetherCreate a variety of models and diagrams showing the software code needed for an applicationEnsure that the program functions normally through software testingDocument every aspect of the application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgradesCreate test plans, scenarios, and procedures for the new softwareImplement software testing, using automated programs and exploratory testing, and evaluate resultsProvide unit, integration, and E2E testingIdentify project risks and recommend steps to minimize those risksDocument and report defects or problems with softwareProvide feedback to stakeholders regarding usability and functionality Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in C#, SQL, HTML, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MAUI and Blazor3+ years of experience in TDD including unit Testing, acceptance testing and integration testing using CleanMoq, bUnit and xUnit3+ years of experience in Azure cloud platform including familiarity with AppInsights, App Service, SQL Servers, Cosmos DB and Blob Storages3+ years of experience in GitHub, GitHub Actions and Markup for documentation3+ years of experience in any E2E UI testing platform like Playwright3+ years of experience in microservices distributed systems, event-driven systems, and micro-frontendsAnalyzing issues and providing solutionsTroubleshooting and problem solvingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, English requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word)Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced, changing environmentDemonstrated ability in working independently and as part of a team
