Experience. Additionally, you will provide customer support through on-call rotation, working closely with the DevOps team to resolve issues.
Responsibilities include writing clean code, debugging features, and implementing best practices for security and scalability. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Next.js/React, excellent problem-solving skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a highly scalable Next.js/React application for Discovery, ensuring intuitive and performant user experience. Work closely with subject matter experts, designers, UX Researchers, and backend engineers to translate complex intelligence workflows into user-friendly interfaces. Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance profiling to ensure robust and secure application. Stay up to date with the latest Next.js, React, and front-end technologies to continuously improve the product. Provide exceptional customer support through proactive issue resolution, timely communication, and global availability via on-call rotation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR Four (4) years of SWE
experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor
degree.
3 to 5 years of experience required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
Desired Skills/Abilities
Experience working with Cloudflare Workers or similar technologies. Knowledge of modern component libraries like Chakra UI, shadcn, Headless UI, and Radix. Understanding LLMs, RAG, Vector Stores, Embeddings, and other AI concepts. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or
university is required; Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software
processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings. Ability to work remotely and being available during core hours for the Engineering Group
