About the RoleAs a member of their Software Solutions team, you’ll work in a collaborative, supportive environment using the latest technologies, and will experience the benefits of joining an established company, such as more stability and a strong work-life balance.
You’ll work hands-on across their software technology stack, which primarily uses .NET/.NET Core on the backend, feeding MVC and Angular frontend websites. In addition, you’ll be working with Builder.io as they bring designs to reality.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and aid in the creation of test plansPlan, create and assist in the creation of unit and integration tests that follow best practicesTake existing tasks from a project, decompose them into sub-tasks and complete them in a reasonable time frame while using high-quality and efficient techniquesWork closely with other software developers and/or architects to tackle increasingly complex problemsPrioritize and make continuous progress on assigned tasks without continuous supervision and/or remindersPerform concise code reviews across several software productsHelp lead small to medium features within the projectParticipate in technical design processes and discussionsHelp to identify and address potential issues/gaps in our processesCommunicate status and blockers to their people leader and the teamOccasionally communicate directly with product and project managers and with other SMEs in the businessOccasionally mentor new hires
Qualifications7+ years of experience building custom software solutionsStrong experience with modern Angular (7 or above)Some experience with object-oriented language, such as C#, .Net, or JavaExperience coding data access code for data sources, such as MS SQL
Preferred SkillsExperience in .NET C# including Entity Framework, Web API and MVCExperience in JavaScript/Typescript, TailwindCSS/SASS/LESS/CSSExperience with content management systems such as Builder.ioExperience in SPA frameworks such as Angular, ReactUnderstanding of complex software development concepts such as containerization or software optimization
