Job Description

Offstream is looking for a talented software engineer to join our growing engineering team. The role will be will be full stack, but likely focused on the front end of the application for the first ~6 months of the job. You will be the 3rd engineer to join the engineering team (currently 2 senior engineers + co-founder/CTO) and have a great opportunity to learn from software engineering experts while also having a large impact on the Offstream product. What You Will Do

Collaborate with the engineering team and other team members to understand product requirements and come up with effective technical solutions to build a great product for our customersParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning/retrospectivesMentor and share knowledge with other engineers as the team grows

What You Will Bring

0-1+ years of software engineering experience, with at least some professional software experience as an intern, preferably at early stage startupsSome familiarity with Offstream’s tech stack (Typescript, Next.js, GraphQL, and postgresql) and general web application development best practicesExperience with relational databasesSome interest in product + designBS/MS in Computer Science or related fieldPassion for startupsStrong communication and collaboration skills

What it’s like to work as an engineer at Offstream

We work in two week sprints and use all of the standard tooling (github, Asana, Slack, etc…)We have a culture of blameless incidents. No engineer is perfect. Sometimes mistakes are made, bugs go into production, and users experience crashes.
