We’re supporting a global cloud platform in hiring a Software Engineer to help build an internal AI-powered tool that improves the performance review experience for managers and employees. This is a 0→1 build with real impact — aimed at saving thousands of hours annually by integrating with internal systems like Workday and streamlining how feedback is summarized and used.
What You’ll Actually Be DoingBuild a LLM-powered product that integrates with Workday and internal APIsRecommend and implement tech stack decisionsDesign and maintain frontend components using React/TypeScriptOwn backend engineering work in Python/FastAPI/PostgresPartner with AI/ML teams to deliver performance insights and feedback summariesConfigure dashboards and automate workflows in Jira or AsanaEnsure accessibility and design consistency through internal UI libraries
Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)Proven backend experience with Python, APIs, and system integrationsStrong knowledge of React/TypeScript and building modern UIsFamiliar with Workday or similar HRIS toolsExperience deploying on AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS)Solid communication skills and ability to operate across cross-functional teamsComfortable in agile sprint environments
