Role Overview

As a Java Developer Intern at SproutsAI, you will work on developing, testing, and optimizing Java-based applications. You will collaborate with engineers to build scalable solutions, work with APIs, and assist in backend development tasks. This role offers hands-on experience in Java programming, software development best practices, and application performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.Assist in backend development and data processing tasks.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Debug and troubleshoot software issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions.Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot (preferred but not mandatory).

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of Java programming language.Familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).Basic knowledge of web frameworks like Spring Boot is a plus.Understanding of version control systems like Git.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
