We are searching for a Sr. Software Engineer, Applications to join our software team located in Hamburg, Germany. You will work on a wide range of software solutions for music production on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, integrating perfectly with the audio hardware product line. This person is familiar with music technology hardware and software, enabling them to understand the technical requirements and challenges of our products and solutions.

Essential Functions

Work with the software team lead and other members of the development team to design and develop our cross-platform application softwareRegular communication with the QA, Product Owners and Product DesignersDesigning, improving and implementing application softwareParticipate in the development and implementation of company-wide software design concepts and guidelinesCommunicate closely and continuously with the development and QA groups, as well as product managementCollaborate with team members to refine requirements for software development

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar educationMinimum 3-5 years of experience in software design and developmentStrong object-oriented C++ programming skills requiredKnowledge of VST/AU plug-in technologies is a benefitProficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, XCode, Git, Jira / Confluence)Fluent German and English language skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication skillsAbility to work alone and as part of a teamExcellent time, task and resource organization skillsBackground in music production and audio technology, as well as knowledge of music production software and software instruments is a benefit
