logoWe are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer looking to join our growing team in Model engineering tribe at Happening! Within the Sports organization, the Model tribe develops platforms and tooling
that support our in-house models—these power the prices for our sports betting content. We collaborate closely with our Quant team, who develop the pricing models. Our clear mission is to deliver the best betting experience
for both current customers and future ones as we expand globally. Since our prices drive most of our sports betting revenue and profit, we need an experienced engineer who can navigate this complex domain and design comprehensive
solutions for our modeling platform.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

Holds at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related fieldHas 5+ years of experience building high-quality software
and values strong engineering practices like code reviews, CI/CD, and design documentsExcels at writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a focus on performance and scalabilityEmbraces best practices in software
engineering, such as comprehensive code reviews and thoughtful design documentationIs passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that anticipate and exceed customer needsEnjoys working in a collaborative team environment
and communicates effectively with others

Bonus points for

Experience with our tech stack/tools: Golang, Kubernetes, KafkaA passion for cloud technologiesFamiliarity with AWS servicesExperience in the betting/gaming
industry

What You Will Be Doing

Design and develop new systems for automated pricing products. Collaborating with other highly skilled engineers across the UK and Europe, participating in code reviews and
whiteboard sessions to facilitate knowledge sharing, solve bottlenecks, and build exceptional softwareTaking ownership of the team’s delivery, providing mentorship, and driving the team’s success through leadership
and guidancePrioritizing tasks based on requirements and designing solutions that meet those needsPromoting and upholding good engineering practices, including design and code review standards
