We are now looking for a Test Automation Engineer in Brussels, Belgium.

Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for automotive systems• Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to identify testing requirements and scenarios• Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure software and system functionality meets specifications• Debug and troubleshoot test failures, identifying root causes and implementing solutions• Continuously improve test automation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage• Integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline• Document test plans, test cases, and test results for transparency and future reference• Stay current with advancements in test automation tools and technologies, particularly within the automotive industry• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all testing activities• Provide training and support to team members on test automation tools and best practices

Qualifications• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer, preferably in the automotive industry• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestComplete)• Knowledge of automotive systems and software development processes• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive testing
