This is an amazing opportunity for a Senior (Frontend) Software Engineer to join a leading Energy Trading Hedge Fund. We operate across 5 ISOs and trade in both physical and financial energy commodity markets.

We use a fundamentals-driven strategy to exploit pricing inefficiencies across commodities, focusing on energy transport, storage, and conversion assets, supported by rigorous analysis and risk management.

We are passionate about software, data, and analytics and are looking for help expanding our next-generation data infrastructure platform.
Responsibilities: • Work closely with our software engineering team to develop tools in Python, Java, React• Analysing structured and unstructured datasets• Structuring data from different sources to for easy and
access use by internal teams• Helping the team build and enhance our platform and infrastructure.• Collaborate closely with traders to build better processes that directly aid in trading decisions.• Design databases
to import data that can later be processed through analytics.• Develop analytics that bring simplicity and understanding to complicated market data.• Improve customer user interface.

Requirements:• Highly driven, engaged, team player, interactive, adaptable.• Bachelor’s Degree (in a relevant field)• 1+ years’ experience in a professional software role (frontend specialization)• Full
Stack capabilities• Experience formatting, visualising, and organizing large amounts of data.• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.• Knowledge about SQL, database design, and database servers

PREFERRED: Experience building comparison tool for running different models.

Basic tech stack: Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redux, AWS
