Role Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. You will play a crucial role in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and collaboration in an agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
We’re actively seeking an exceptional Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our team, where you’ll take the lead in designing and developing robust full-stack web applications from inception to deployment. Your role will extend beyond technical expertise, as you mentor junior developers, instilling a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll define, design, and implement new features, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop robust full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.Lead the development process of new applications from concept to deployment.Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Manage API design and development, as well as security, data protection, and user authentication.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Provide maintenance and support for existing applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.Minimum 5 years of experience in web development, with a strong background in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and React.Expertise in building RESTful APIs.Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Vercel, Digital Ocean or Google Cloud.Knowledge of additional programming or scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.Demonstrated proficiency in crafting code that is not only clean and easily readable but also highly maintainable.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Experience in optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
