Job Overview
As our Software Developer, you’ll contribute to the development team and employ your development skills working on the automations that make possible our data-driven pricing solutions for our clients in the attractions (zoos, museums, tours, theme parks) and performing arts (concert venues, theatres, orchestras) business.
Who we are (the company):Digonex helps our clients achieve transformational revenue growth with a data-driven, scientific approach to ticket pricing. Our team of Ph.D. economists creates customized pricing algorithms for attractions and performing arts. New data is fed to the algorithms to make sure pricing is constantly being optimized to match what the market is willing to pay. Our customers are growing their revenue, and our company and technology teams are growing as a result!
What you’ll do (the job):Develop new enhancements/features to our software applicationsIdentify opportunities to enhance performance, quality and efficiencyCommunicate effectively with other members of your project team as well as client service managers, project managers, and economistsCollaborate with others to ensure best practices are followedParticipate in code reviews to ensure code qualityDevelop web UI using AngularPerform unit and integration testing on our application to resolve issuesDevelop stored procedures, views, and queries using SQLDevelop RESTful APIs meant for internal and external user consumptionAssimilate high level requirements into discrete units of work
What you’ll need (your skills):Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related software development fieldYou have 3+ years of professional experience coding C#, .Net Core or other object-oriented languageProfessional experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server preferred)Experience with Angular, component libraries and related technologiesExperience with the Azure hosting platform preferredYou are collaborative but also capable of working autonomously to define and develop software and data projectsYou are passionate about efficiency and process improvementStrong communication skills
Additional detailsThis is a remote position based in the United States. This position can be a hybrid home/office schedule if based in Indianapolis, IN, Digonex corporate headquartersBecause so many of us work remotely, we try to get together in person from time to time. You can expect to travel occasionally to team and departmental meetings in Indianapolis. Planned frequency is approximately quarterly.Visa sponsorship considered
