The Online Sales team is in charge of the growth and success of our digital presence, optimising marketing channels across all regions. We ensure a seamless, impactful experience that resonates with customers. We’re looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer with strong Shopify experience to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites built on Shopify, ensuring exceptional user experiences and seamless functionality.

You can work remotely either from Germany or from the UK for this position.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable e-commerce solutions, understands the ins and outs of the Shopify platform, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop and maintain Shopify themes and custom featuresYou will build custom Shopify apps or modify existing onesYou will collaborate with designers and e-commerce managers to implement website functionality and designYou will ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityYou will optimize website performance, speed, and SEOYou will integrate third-party tools and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, inventory systems)You will troubleshoot and debug site issuesYou will stay updated on the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices

Your profile

You have 2+ years of experience in web developmentYou have proven experience working with Shopify and Shopify PlusYou are fluent in English, both written and spokenYou have strong knowledge of Liquid (Shopify’s templating language)You are proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQueryYou have experience with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrationsYou are familiar with version control (e.g., Git)You have an understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principlesYou have basic knowledge of SEO best practicesYou have the ability to work independently and as part of a teamYou have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

You have experience with headless commerce or JAMstack using ShopifyYou have knowledge of other e-commerce tools (Klaviyo, Yotpo and Google Suite)You have UI/UX design skills or experience working with Figma/Adobe XDYou are familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
