Senior Windows Engineer:
A leading high-frequency trading firm based in London is seeking an adept Windows Engineer with extensive experience maintaining, optimizing, building out, and automating Windows infrastructure. The firm utilizes Windows for plenty of its core infrastructure and as its primary desktop OS – so maintenance of this platform is mission-critical. This individual will be responsible for standardizing and automating the Windows environment – so will need proficiency with PowerShell.
Responsibilities:Act as an escalation point for any Windows-related issuesAutomate processes via PowerShellStandardize Windows environmentsOptimize Windows EnvironmentsManage Active DirectoryCollaborate with global teams on new projects and to solve complex incidentsDevelop documentation to support the team on incident resolution
Requirements:5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Windows 10 and Server 2012 R2/2016/2019Extensive experience with Active Directory/DHCP/DNS/Group PolicyExtensive experience troubleshooting workstation operating systems and applicationsExperience with hardware monitoring and performance tuningClear and concise communication skillsThe ability to work in a collaborative environment
