Business Data Analyst

Job Overview

logoIn this role, you will work closely with the members of Access2Care’s Business Integration, Finance, and Operations teams. With a combination of analytical expertise, data, and system knowledge, you will analyze national and regional markets as well as customer needs to identify and summarize trends in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) activities. You will assist in creating and evaluating multiple sources of data, deriving actionable insights, and translating complex results into simple conclusions that will empower business leaders to take action.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

▪ Design, develop, and maintain appropriate mechanisms for data tracking and

performance management such as Power BI reports and Tableau dashboards

▪ Cleanse and merge data from disparate systems using business and technical

validation rules

▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams by leading problem-solving sessions to

develop analytical solutions and find simplified approaches to business complexities

▪ Perform comprehensive research by creating, modifying, and running queries via

SQL Server

▪ Identify and interpret meaningful insights, patterns, and trends from complex data

▪ Suggest improvements in the techniques/tools and troubleshoot report performance

▪ Responsible for special projects and reports as assigned

▪ Adhere to all company policies and procedures

▪ Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

▪ Bachelor’s Degree required (Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering,

or Mathematics degree preferred)

▪ Experienced with Power BI and SQL

▪ Pursuing a master’s degree in a related field of study is a plus

Skills And Abilities

▪ Advanced knowledge of data management and reporting services or tools such as

Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Tableau

▪ Strong database querying and reporting competency

▪ Ability to synthesize, visualize, and effectively communicate complex data into

effective storytelling to provide business recommendations

▪ Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

▪ Comfortable working with diverse business scenarios and handling multiple priorities

while maintaining a business, consultancy, and technical mindset

▪ Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills such as dealing with ambiguity, making

complex decisions, innovation, etc.

▪ Collaborative, dynamic, and self-motivated team player with a “can-do” attitude and

effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

▪ Ability to learn quickly and passionate about discovering new things
