What’s your role about?

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Build and Release Management to join our team in Katowice. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient build pipelines, ensuring smooth continuous integration, and optimizing our build processes. Your role will involve collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline our build and release processes and integrate feedback effectively

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL DO (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE IMPORTANT STUFF!)

Build Management: Design, implement, and maintain efficient build pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Continuous Integration: Set up and manage CI environments, automate build, test, and deployment processes. Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve build and deployment issues in a timely manner. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for build and tech release processes. Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the build/release process and integrate feedback. Performance Optimization: Continuously improve build performance and efficiency. Security: Implement and enforce security best practices in the build and deployment processes. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor build and release metrics, generate reports, and proactively address any anomalies.

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Solid understanding of build automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex build and deployment issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in implementing security best practices in build and deployment processes. Ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Experience with performance monitoring and optimization.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD THESE DESIRABLE SKILLS

Experience in a similar Build/Release Engineer role. Knowledge of modern software development practices and methodologies. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Experience with monitoring tools and generating reports.
