Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our team in BALTIMORE, Maryland, United States. As part of our IT Software team, you will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets, delivering insights to facilitate business decisions, and ensuring the quality of data.
Responsibilities
Analyze data using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Collaborate with the software development team during requirements gathering and design planning Assist in maintaining a high level of data quality for customers Resolve client inquiries, maintaining ownership through resolution Establish and maintain relationships with customers Develop and maintain a high level of product and business knowledge Assist in the development of training documentation related to data analytics, usage, and interpretation Work collaboratively with the team to adopt project management practices that maximize ongoing performance improvement and customer satisfaction Perform root-cause analysis with customers, develop logical conclusions, and suggest appropriate solutions Utilize skills in Database System, Data Analysis, Data Cleaning, Data Cleansing, and Create Dashboards to perform tasks effectively Collaborate with the development team to improve the quality of deliverables and ensure business needs are met.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Data Analyst role in the IT Software industry Proficiency in Database Systems Proven ability to create and manage dashboards for data visualization Strong skills in Data Analysis, including interpreting data, analyzing results, and creating reports Experience in Data Cleaning and Data Cleansing, ensuring data is accurate and reliable Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals Knowledge of data protection regulations and privacy standards Familiarity with statistical packages and software for data analysis.
