Job Purpose

TechnipFMC is a global leader in energy projects, technologies, systems, and services. The company is undergoing a digital transformation program implementing new and innovative solutions to improve the way we work. An integral part of this transformation is the growing importance of Data. The development of the Data Lake/Warehouse content as a single source of data for the company is one critical component of this strategy. To support the design, build and roll-out of the Data Lake/Data Warehouse we are recruiting an Analytics Engineer into the Data Management Team. The Analytics Engineer will develop content in the Data Lake/Data Warehouse for reporting USE Cases or Digital Products data sets.

Job Description

Develop, maintain, and optimize data models and pipelines using dbt and Snowflake.Write efficient and scalable SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs.Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.Create and maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and processes.Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics

Works With

Data Management Analysts/Data Governance: Classification and mapping of the physical assets. Data Owners/Data Stewards/Business Subject Matter Experts: Understanding and validating the USE Cases.Data Architects/Data Engineers: Ensuring what is built fits with the bigger picture and can be re-used.

You Are Meant For This Job If

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience with dbt and Snowflake.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
