Key responsibilities

Annotate various forms of data, including text, images, and videos, according to specific project requirementsEnsure accuracy and consistency in data annotations through thorough verification and quality checksCollaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and annotation guidelinesUtilize annotation tools and software to efficiently label and categorize large volumes of dataAdhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality annotated data within specified deadlinesIdentify and report any issues or inconsistencies in the data, and provide suggestions for improvementWork closely with the data management team to maintain organized datasets and ensure data integrityParticipate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on data annotation best practices and challengesAssist in developing and refining annotation guidelines and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracyCommunicate effectively with team members and project leads to provide updates on annotation progress and challengesFollow best practices for data security and confidentiality to protect sensitive informationStay updated on industry trends and advancements in data annotation technology and practicesContribute to the training of new team members and provide guidance on data annotation proceduresSupport the development and implementation of automated annotation tools and processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience in data annotation, data labeling, or similar roles within the AI or machine learning domainDemonstrated proficiency in using annotation tools and software, such as Labelbox, Prodigy, or Amazon SageMaker Ground TruthStrong understanding of data management principles and practices, with the ability to maintain structured and well-organized datasetsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasksAbility to collaborate effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work cultureAnalytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address data annotation issues and challengesSolid time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirementsFamiliarity with data privacy and security regulations, and a commitment to upholding data confidentiality and protection protocolsProficiency in using productivity and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or SlackKnowledge of machine learning and AI concepts, and the ability to understand the impact of quality annotated data on model performanceStrong willingness to learn and adapt to new annotation techniques, tools, and processesAbility to work with large and diverse datasets, including text, images, audio, and video dataExperience in mentoring or training team members in annotation methods and best practicesCertifications in data annotation, machine learning, or related fields are a plus
