We are currently searching for a Freelance Data Engineer / Consultant for a project with one of our clients based in Switzerland and France.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Digital Marketing, as well as extensive knowledge in dashboard development, data management, data modelling and performance optimisation. The candidate will support with key activities within the Data Team in the Global Strategic Marketing division!
About the role:Role: Digital Insights Consultant / Data EngineerLocation: Remote – with some collaboration onsite in Paris, FranceEnglish Speaking (French is a nice-to-have)Start date: Start of SeptemberContract length: until the end of 2024 with potential extensions
Role requirements:Design and implement Dashboards creating, based on business requirements, user-friendly and visually corporate dashboards with key metrics and insights presented in a clear and actionable format.Data Integration connecting Power BI to various data sources (e.g., SQL, AWS, cloud services) to automate data updates and ensure accuracy.Custom Visualizations developing custom visualizations to meet specific analytical needs, ensuring they are aligned with business goals.Data Modeling building data models that support efficient and scalable data analysis, including measures, calculated columns, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas.Optimize Performance ensuring dashboards are optimized for performance, minimizing load times and ensuring smooth interactions.Documentation developing comprehensive documentation covering dashboard usage, data sources, data model structures, and maintenance procedures.Analysis of business objectives, data exploration and insight generation / reporting.
