Ideal candidates should have an strong familiarity with cloud infrastructure and be as comfortable working in a shell as they are in an IDE. Our team operates in a lean, agile, and self-sufficient way, valuing a Cloud first approach and developing infrastructure-as-code. The successful candidate will be implementing automation solutions for a team serving multiple engineering departments.Responsibilities:Define, create, architect, and build high-quality systems.Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams.Identify and promote new technologies, patterns, solutions, and best practices.Contribute innovative ideas within a community of highly skilled engineers.Develop self-healing infrastructure-as-code and automate everything.Prioritize security in all aspects of our operations.Qualifications:Is self-driven and keenly focused with a proven track of delivering innovative solutions.Has strong knowledge in system management languages (e.g., Chef, Terraform, Ansible).Has multiple scripting languages in their toolbox (e.g., Python, GO, PERL, Swift).Is familiar with containerization (e.g., Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, OpenShift).Has skills in Cloud/PaaS Environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Compute).Has thorough knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).Has experience in UNIX/Linux administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security.Has strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Training/Education:A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years or equivalent experience.Demonstrates an ability to explore and understand new technologies continually.Embody a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering culture with continuous delivery, cloud, and fully automated infrastructure-as-code.Remote work is available but preference will be given to candidates working in the PST time zone.
