Job Overview

We are looking for a Documentation Engineer with strong technical understanding and a passion for making complex concepts easy to comprehend! Join our small, dynamic team of 2 to improve quality documentation, automate processes, and lead a documentation system migration.This is a full-time position where you can work remotely within Europe, or from our coworking space in Katowice, Poland.Some of the things you’ll work on:

Within the first month:You’ll kick-start your journey by Adverity with a flexible onboarding process designed to help you acquire in-depth knowledge of our SaaS platform and the underlying product development processes, workflows, and teams. After 1-2 months: System Migration & Framework Design: Take the lead in migrating to a new documentation system, crafting a scalable framework that gives our colleagues clear, consistent guidelines they can rely on. Information Architecture & Planning: Deep dive into understanding user needs by improving the design and implementation of intuitive information architecture that seamlessly adapts as our Adverity products evolve. Automation & Tool Development: Work together with our Product Development teams to bring efficiency to life by building a streamlined software environment that makes the documentation process simpler and smarter. API & Content Documentation: Craft clear requirements for our Product Development Teams to enable effective code implementation, and shape the output format to ensure seamless and engaging technical documentation. We’re excited if you have:

Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Python and JavaScript is preferred, with experience in automating documentation processes using scripts to enhance efficiency. Experience in Documentation Systems: Hands-on experience with documentation systems like Doxygen, Sphinx, or Markdown, ensuring seamless document creation and maintenance. Project Management Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with multiple teams (product, development, marketing) to gather and document requirements. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, coupled with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Cloud Platform Familiarity: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with the ability to document and understand cloud-based APIs and services is preferred but not a must!
