logoThe Downhole Computations CPE (DHC CPE) is looking for an Electronics Engineer with an expertise in Electronics design. This job is based in Clamart, France.
The DHC CPE develops advanced systems for downhole use. The DHC CPE explores new technology, introduces new digital components and develops full solutions including hardware and software. The selected candidate will work in electronics technology projects with an application in downhole products operating at very high temperature.
The job typically includes the following tasks:
Perform metrology tests to validate the sensor(s).Design, schematics and layout of electronics boardsIdentification and validation of electronics componentsTest and qualification of the electronics designTroubleshooting of hardware problems Development of test setups and in-the-loop (XiL) systems characterize sensorsBe familiar with lab setupsCapable of doing electrical design and firmware to adapt to sensors.

The DHC CPE projects cover the full cycle of development, from design to qualification. The candidate will work in a team composed of electronics hardware engineers, embedded software engineers, physicists, CAD designers, manufacturing support, test support and other support functions.
Desired skills Senior electrical, mechanical or physicist, with a concrete experience in magnetometers or accelerometers or gyroscopeExperience with digital components: microcontrollers, FPGAs, memories, communications peripherals …Experience with other electronics sub-systems : power conversion, clocks and oscillators, ADC/DAC…Experience in layout specifications involving high speed digital electronics devicesExperience in the complete development cycle, from architecture and design to manufacturing and testFluent in English, spoken and written
