FortifyIQ is an exciting cyber security start-up company based in the US, founded 4 years ago by a successful entrepreneur. The FortifyIQ team has a vast knowledge of software and hardware development, cryptography algorithms, semiconductors, and cutting-edge hardware and software hacking methods.

At FortifyIQ, our mission is to advance maximum security against side-channel and fault-injection attacks across the computing spectrum. We accomplish this by providing a variety of side-channel and fault-injection attack-resistant IP cores and SW libraries, and by offering a pre-silicon security evaluation toolset. We offer software tools for chip designers and system integrators, allowing them to select ICs and design their own side-channel attack-resistant cryptographic IP cores—all without producing chips in silicon, or as FPGAs.

And now, we’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with a passion for computer security to join our small but highly skilled team!

Requirements:

Proficiency in programming languages and familiarity with Rust is an advantage

3+ years of embedded development C/C++ experience

Knowledge of microcontrollers and microprocessorsExperience with programming in assembly language is an advantageAbility to work with hardwareUnderstanding of operating systemsCommunication and collaboration skillsBS / MS in computer engineering or computer science or equivalent experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detailIntermediate level of technical English

Responsibilities:

Designing and developing low-level embedded softwareCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software integration into hardware designDeveloping and maintaining software documentationCode review
