For the AI Solutions team in charge of developing AI use-cases for external Schneider Electric customers & internal functions (HR, finance, marketing, customer support, etc.) for a sustainable, digital new electric world and make a true impact for sustainability, we are looking for a Lead Data Scientist.
Your missions:
a continuous interaction with internal or external customers to gain a good understanding of their needs, propose relevant solutions, and support them as needed,the collection, evaluation and selection of Artificial Intelligence use cases, with a focus on business value and business and technical risks,the specification, design, implementation, test, validation, and industrialization of advanced data management, artificial intelligence and analytic functions to be incorporated in internal or external products, systems and solutions – i.e. from technical risk exploration to operational deployment,the definition and management of relevant innovation / technology actions (e.g., prototype developments, experimentations, analytic competitions) in order to develop and deploy innovations and expertise through research, platforming, standardization, development of intellectual property, partnerships, reference documents, etc.the recommendation and management of technical choices (including the selection and management of tool providers and partners) influencing anticipation and offer creation within the Artificial Intelligence Hub and beyond,the application of maturation and development processes and good practices defined within the Artificial Intelligence Hub and the contribution to their updates in an ever-evolving context,knowledge sharing, teaching and coaching within the Artificial Intelligence Hub and beyond,the promotion of Schneider Electric’s strategy in the Analytics / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science domain through papers, blogs, conference presentations, and contributions to internal and external cross-function communities (sharing with marketing, sales, etc.).
Your profile :
Master or PhD or equivalent diploma in Analytics / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science or related subjectwith +7 years of experience in advanced data processing and Analytics / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science model and application development and more specifically a strong data science background in NLP, generative AI/LLM/RAG and computer vision (Deep Learning)good knowledge of python, devops tools, cloud (Azure ML, databricks)significant software engineering experience: capacity to perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process and in agile modevery good communication skills, pragmatism, and rigorcapacity to mentor beginners on the above technical skillsleadership competenciesunderstanding business context and implicationsbalancing long-term objectives with wide scope of day-to-day activitiescontributing innovative ideas, taking risks, challenging status quolistening to others and conveying messages in an accurate and effective mannerbuilding an agile network and promoting synergies within the company and with external partnersconsistently involving all stakeholders in plans and decisions that affect themfluent in english
