About us
Ambrosys is a young and dynamic company specializing in research and development. We work on a variety of topics including mobility, energy, and complex systems, using various programming languages and technologies to create innovative software solutions using an agile development approach. Our team, consisting of physicists, computer scientists, and mathematicians, combines expertise from different disciplines to drive both general and specialized development. About the position
As the newest member of a highly skilled and cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing a full range from backend to frontend projects. We work in the sectors energy, climate and automotive, in particular autonomous drive. Our work concerns typically data-driven, cloud-based platforms for automated processing of large data sets. We aim at an optimization of the user experience, starting from the backend, ending with frontend work with state-of-the-art technology.
Your daily tasks will include:
Continuously improve, operate, and own development of our platform Work with a tech stack including Python and Typescript to develop our applications Design and improve APIs following the best practices Design and implement data models in appropriate data bases Implement data visualizations to help users understand and analyze data sets
Your profile
At least 3 years of professional experience in building applications with backend and frontend parts Fluency in Python and Typescript Ability to debug issues in a full-stack environment Proven experience in an agile development environment Familiarity with core concepts of database management, API design, and frontend development Experience working with cloud systems (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus A bachelor’s degree in a STEM or similar discipline (advanced degrees a plus)
