Your Mission:As our Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with Data Science and Data Engineering professionals to develop our webapp. Your role will be to build web features that proudly showcase our AI models, analytics and our product as a whole. Collaborating with other teams from the biology, medical and physics fields, you will design, develop, and maintain a data intensive product at scale. With responsibilities spanning both front-end and back-end development, your expertise will be instrumental in crafting clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Node.js and React. You will also deploy and manage applications through Docker containers and harness cloud services to build scalable and reliable systems while staying ahead of the curve with emerging web development technologies and best practices.
Key Tasks:• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to craft exceptional web applications• Craft clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Node.js (or Python) and React• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development efforts• Deploy and oversee applications via Docker containers• Leverage cloud services to engineer scalable and dependable systems• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs• Investigate and resolve software defects and technical issues• Stay up-to-date with emerging web development technologies and best practices What You’ll Bring:• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).• 3 Years work experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar role• Proficiency in Node.js and React• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment• Familiarity with cloud services and their offerings• Exceptional problem-solving skills and an eye for detail• Strong communication and collaboration abilities• Adeptness in agile development environments Bonus Points for:• Knowledge of any of the following technologies: Nest.js, SQL, MongoDB, Python, Apache Airflow• Experience related to CI/CD pipelines (DevOps)• Experience with OVH or AWS cloud services• Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding endeavours• Passion for healthcare Join Okomera on our transformative journey in oncology drug discovery and diagnostics.
