logoJob objectiveThe Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, administering and securing servers and system components to achieve high availability and performance of business applications. This position plays a key role in the technical planning, implementation and operation of our IT infrastructures.Main tasksInstallation, configuration and maintenance: Install and configure server systems, including OS (operating systems), business applications, security tools, network, etc.Monitoring and optimization: Monitor system performance and carry out optimizations to ensure maximum efficiency.Security: Implement IT security policies (ISO-27001), including access management, backups and disaster recovery plans.Technical support: Provide level 2 and 3 support to resolve complex and recurring incidents.Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation on system architecture and operating procedures.Innovation projects: Participate in research and development projects to integrate new technologies into the existing environment.Skills and qualifications requiredDegree in computer science or related field.Good knowledge or willing to improve about – virtualization technologies (VMWare, Proxmox, Nutanix)- cloud computing solutions (AWS).- networks and security (Firewall, VLAN, Routing, Certificates).Comfortable with Linux and MacOS operating systemsAbility to script (Bash, Python).Problem-solving and analytical skills.Fluent in French and English, German a plus.Personal profileStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proactive, autonomous and able to work effectively in a team.Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Possible progression to Docker/Kubernetes environment management.
