The company:Harrington Starr is excited to announce that they have partnered with an innovative electronic trading firm who is at the core the financial industry, offering flexible solutions for Electronic Trading, Payments, and Enterprise Data.
The role:They are looking to build out a team of analytical, code passionate and forward-thinking people who can design, build and maintain applications using their industry leading proprietary low code/no code platforms.This role does not require any previous core coding experience but ideally successful candidates will have some generic technology and functional skills.
It will be excellent if candidates could have some, but NOT all of the below requirements:a background in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, or a related fieldat least 1 year of hands-on experience in application development and technical system analysiswith web technologies such as HTTP REST, SOAP, XML, and JSONin utilizing tools like SVN, Git, and JIRAabout relational databases (SQL/Oracle)in scripting languages like JavaScript, TCL, or similarin shell scripting (Bash / Unix)in English and Spanish or Germananalytical skills with a structured and focused approachattitude with a dedication to service excellenceto collaborate in an innovative and international team setting.
