We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst ready to join our venture-backed B2B SaaS company and dig out all the hidden gems in our internal data. With around 100 employees, our team is mainly based in Malaga, Spain, but we are incorporated in the US and the EU (with our top-corp registered in Delaware). You can choose where you want to work from because the location doesn’t matter, you do.

This is your chance to come and work for a high-growth B2B SaaS company based in the US, Denmark, and Spain. Plytix is backed by Tier 1 investors, such as Tiger, and is already a global industry leader within PIM—one of the fastest-growing verticals in the retail industry.
We’re seeking a talented and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll get an unique opportunity of collaborating with practically all departments, including Engineering, Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales. Your mandate will be to collect, consolidate and analyze data, to then present findings that drive decision-making and product improvements.
What will you be doing?
You will be our data wizard and the go-to person for everything related to KPI definition and reporting. You will be working very closely with different department managers and founders, to understand data needs and provide solutions and useful insights that will make a difference in the decision making process. Your main responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to:
Data Collection and ManagementDesign and implement processes for data collection, cleaning, and integration from various sources, using APIs and other methods where needed.Manage, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights.Ensure data quality and reliability.
Data AnalysisPerform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.Utilize statistical methods to analyze and interpret data sets.Develop KPIs and metrics to track business performance.
Business Intelligence reportingDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.Present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
Product AnalyticsAssist in identifying key product outcome metrics and their correlation to business outcomes.Conduct behavioral analytics to track feature usage and identify improvement opportunities.Help design and analyze product experiments to optimize product decisions.
Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with Product, Marketing, Customer, Sales, and Finance teams to understand their data needsProvide data-driven insights and recommendations for product and process improvementsSupport the improvement of data reliability in our backoffice systems
After 1 month:You have been introduced to the entire organization and all processes in the departments you need to be collaborating with. You have been presented with the state of the art regarding data collection and reporting and you already have an understanding of what’s needed in order to get the best out of our data and to achieve stellar reporting.
After 3 months:At this point, you have designed and established a convenient data warehouse where all the previously scattered data from different sources will finally live together. You have already implemented scripts to extract data from some tools and have started to create initial dashboards and reports for key stakeholders. You’ve begun to identify areas where data quality can be improved and have proposed solutions to address these issues.
6 months in:By now, you have fully integrated data from all major sources into the data warehouse. You’ve developed comprehensive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to various departments. You’ve established strong relationships with team leaders across the organization and are actively contributing to data-driven decision-making processes. You’ve also started to implement more advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling, to provide deeper insights into product usage and customer behavior. Your work has begun to directly impact strategic decisions and product improvements.
Who will you be working with?
You’ll be the first Data Analyst to join the company, meaning you’ll potentially become a key role in the organization, and as such you’ll work closely with different department directors and the founders.
The ideal candidate will:
Have 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role for a SaaS companyHave strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing conceptsExperience with data visualization toolsExperience with APIs and data collection methodsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsHave proven learning background in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related fieldStrong communication skills and ability to present complex data in an understandable wayFamiliarity with product analytics and SaaS metricsBe detail-oriented and organizedSpeak and write native-level English
Nice to have:Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and scriptingFamiliarity with statistical analysis and experimental designA dog… We love dogs 🙂
