Position:

The Power BI Specialist is responsible for delivering actionable reports and dashboard for business stakeholders on the performance of the department. They understand company data structure across multiple systems very well and can transform and visualize this data.

Able to apply predictive analytics on large datasets to identify trends across the business.

They maintain the departmental BI infrastructure, manage users and requests.

Delivers required project inputs according to time, quality and budget requirementsEnsures progress is accurately communicated and expectations of various stakeholders are managed effectivelyProactively integrates new technologies for more advanced analytics including and not limited to PowerFlow, PowerApps and Machine LearningSets up Dataflows for ETL and maintains themProvides Power BI desktop & cloud platform, gateways & administration support and expertiseSuggests improvements/best practices and takes ownership of implementing them.Provides good DAX, data modelling and basic M (Power Query Editor) capabilityProduce and enhance reports & dashboardsProvide technical input and effective data analysis to projects to support the achievement of deliverables to time and budgetMaintains knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 6 Years of experience in MS Power BIGood communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teamsExperience producing data structure diagrams and documentationVery strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to learn quickly and work with best practicesEnthusiastic, self-motivated, self-starter and maintains positive attitude.Excellent time management and organizational skills; coordinate complex projects, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyVery good understanding of relational databasesRequired experience/knowledge of a software or programming environment:MS Power BI, Sharepoint, Azure, Redshift, DataflowsPower query/M, DAXOptional, but preferred experience with:SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL, AWS GlueOther reporting tools like: Tableau, Quicksight
