Working in the IT team as a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our financial products, services and systems by developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. The work will include both automation and manual testing. The main IT office of the company is located in Poland, Gdansk. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of areas in the increasingly important world of fintech payments and have a real impact on the growth of the firm.

If you are a successful candidate and living outside Poland, you will be required to relocate to Poland, once you have successfully passed your probation, if practically feasible. We will aim to assist with your relocation to Poland, taking into account the practicalities of the current situation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our financial products, services and systems; Manage the QA process, ensuring that security requirements are met; Develop and present ideas for software and service improvement; API testing (Postman); API testing automation (JS framework); Functional testing of business logic (from simple to complex multi-level logic); Assist in the development of automated testing scripts and tools; Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of our testing processes and tools; Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to software quality assurance and testing; Participate in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to software testing processes and procedures

Requirements

Established experience in software testing (desirable, financial project); Ability to apply testing techniques in practice; Experience in API testing and API testing a/ automation; Experience in testing business logic; Basic knowledge of SQL (experience with normalised and denormalised databases); Experience with Postman, JMeter; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Nice to have/ Desirable: Higher technical education Experience in writing and maintaining documentation; Familiarity with the financial industry and regulatory requirements. Basic knowledge of one of the well-known programming languages (JS, Java, C++ and etc.)
