Key job responsibilities

Develop test strategies, and automated test cases Build test infrastructure/environment to support manual and automation testing Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or features Create and maintain automation scripts, and make configuration changes Troubleshoot test failures/automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects Perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risks Enhance test processes and mechanisms

Basic Qualifications

1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience Bachelor’s degree Experience in manual testing Experience in automation testing In-depth knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Java and ability to automate test cases. Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Pytest, Appium, Cypress, etc… Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, MacOS, Cloud (AWS) environments and their development tools Familiarity with Hardware & Software development process and lifecycle (HDLC and SDLC) Good knowledge of QA methodologies and tools (TestRail, JIRA, Confluence, etc…) Ability to write test plans and test strategy documents Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data Ability to work both independently and being part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Embedded System, Device and App testing Hands-on automation experience with Python and Java Familiar with basic wireless protocol testing (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
